Wichita State University's two-year "Roundhouse Renaissance" campaign is complete, and came to fruition Dec. 20, 2003 as WSU dedicated Charles Koch Arena in front of a sold out crowd (10,512) at halftime of its men’s basketball game against rival Tulsa.

"Roundhouse Renaissance is the most significant administrative event in the history of our program," said Jim Schaus, Wichita State Director of Athletics. "It has changed the face of our program forever. Every aspect of athletic department has changed overnight, from recruiting, attendance at events and fund raising, to fan enthusiasm and staff morale.

"It has been a major factor in elevating our program to another level. It has changed the way we think about ourselves and the way others perceive us. It is wonderful to have new buildings, but it still comes down to people, and how these facilities are changing the lives of our student-athletes, fans from around the region, our entire campus, staff and so many others."

COMMUTER CAMPER CHECK-IN

Directions for commuter check-in: Check-in is located on the South side, main entrance of Charles Koch Arena. You can check-in 45 minutes before camp begins.

RESIDENT CAMPER CHECK-IN
***Check-in for resident campers will be at the top of the stairs in the lobby of Shocker Hall***

From North: Interstate 135
Take Interstate 135 South to 21st Street and go east (turn left). Take 21st Street to Hillside Street. Turn right on Hillside Street. Then turn left on Alumni Drive into campus. At the stop sign turn left on Perimeter Road and keep left to the backside of Shocker Hall where the loading zone will be.

From South
Take Interstate 135 North to 21st Street and go east (exit right). Take 21st Street to Hillside Street. Turn right onto Hillside Street. Then turn left on Alumni Drive into campus. At the stop sign turn left on Perimeter Road and keep left to the backside of Shocker Hall where the loading zone will be.

From West (and Wichita Mid-Continent Airport)
From the airport, take Airport Road north to Kellogg (U.S. Highway 54). Take Kellogg east (past downtown) to Interstate 135 North to 21st Street and go east (exit right). Take 21st Street to Hillside Street. Turn right onto Hillside Street. Then turn left onto Alumni Drive on campus. At the stop sign turn left on Perimeter Road and keep left to the backside of Shocker Hall where the loading zone will be.
